FieldSight

    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: March 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ValleTech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the FieldSight mobile application (“FieldSight” or the “App”). FieldSight is an AI-assisted incident reporting tool for field operations, designed for offline-first use in real-world environments—for example security patrols, construction sites, facilities, infrastructure inspections, and logistics yards.

Important: In this first release, incident data you create in FieldSight is stored on your device. We do not operate cloud sync or a hosted backend for the App in this version, so we do not receive your photos, location history, notes, or reports from the App through those means.

    Information the App processes

Depending on how you use FieldSight and which permissions you grant, the App may process:

    • Photos — images you capture with the camera for incident reports.
    • Location — latitude and longitude associated with an incident when you allow location access, so reports can record where something occurred.
    • Date and time — timestamps for when incidents are recorded.
    • Tags and notes — labels you select or enter, and optional text you add to describe an incident.
    • On-device detection signals — where available, the App may analyze images on your device (for example to suggest object categories such as people or vehicles). Suggestions are assistive; you can review and change tags before saving a report.

    How we use this information

Information processed by the App is used to provide App functionality on your device: capturing and reviewing incidents, showing lists or maps of saved incidents (where those features are available), and applying on-device assistance to help you tag and structure reports. We do not use this first-release App to collect that content on our servers, because this version does not send your incident data to us through the App.

    Local storage and your device

Incident reports and related media are kept in local storage on your device. You are responsible for device security (passcode, OS updates, and who has physical access to the device). Removing the App or clearing App data may delete locally stored incidents; follow your platform’s guidance for backups if you need to retain records outside the device.

    Permissions

FieldSight may ask for access to the camera and to location services. Camera access is used to capture incident photos. Location access is used to attach coordinates to reports when you choose to enable it. You can control or revoke permissions in your device settings; some features may not work without them.

    AI-assisted features

Where the App offers detection or tagging assistance, it is designed to support—not replace—your judgment. You can override suggested tags and metadata. Processing for those features in this release occurs on your device to the extent provided by the App and the operating system.

    Children

FieldSight is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly direct the App at children.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. If we introduce material new data practices (for example, optional online features in a future version), we will describe them here or in the App as appropriate.
