Overwatch Monitor

    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: April 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ValleTech (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Overwatch Monitor mobile application (“Overwatch Monitor” or the “App”). Overwatch Monitor lets you add HTTP or HTTPS endpoints, set a response-time limit, and see whether each endpoint looks healthy, degraded, or down from your device.

Important: In this release, monitors, limits, and check history stay on your device. We do not operate cloud sync, a hosted backend, or analytics for the App in this version, so we do not receive your endpoints, thresholds, or results from the App through those means.

    Information the App processes

Depending on how you use Overwatch Monitor, the App may process the following on your device:

    • Endpoint configuration - URLs, names or labels you enter, and the response-time limit you choose for each monitor.
    • Check results - timestamps, HTTP status codes (when applicable), measured latency, and derived status such as healthy, degraded, or down.
    • Network traffic you initiate - the App sends requests from your device to the endpoints you configure so it can measure availability and speed. Those servers see requests as coming from your device and network, not from us.

    How we use this information

Information processed by the App is used to show monitors, history, and status on your device. We do not use this first-release App to collect that content on our servers, because this version does not send your monitor configuration or results to us through the App.

    Local storage and your device

Data you create in Overwatch Monitor is kept in local storage on your device. You are responsible for device security (passcode, OS updates, and who has physical access to the device). Removing the App or clearing App data may delete locally stored monitors and history.

    Third-party endpoints

You decide which URLs to monitor. Those services are operated by their respective providers; this policy does not describe their practices. Only add endpoints you are allowed to check and respect their terms and rate limits.

    Children

Overwatch Monitor is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly direct the App at children.

    Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. If we introduce material new data practices (for example, optional online features in a future version), we will describe them here or in the App as appropriate.
